Just got my player today and I like to make it short of what I've seen so far with this DVD player
Pro:
1) Great Sound quality, especially for music. My home theater system (marantz ZR6001 and Energy Connoiseurs speakers) come back to life. This Panny even beat my high end Denon DVD player in Sound Quality. LOVE IT!!!!!!
2) Great picture quality for blu-ray movie playback.
3) User friednly remote control.
4) Quick loading time, not like other people has claimed.
CONS:
1) Upscaling is not that great comparing with my samsung 1080P8 and my Denon Upscaling DVD player, but exceptional good.
2) Does not play certain DVD, I've upgraded the latest firmware, but still have problem with freeze and can't read certain DVD.
If you plan to use this player strictly for Blu-ray playback only, then this one is the best and it is for you, but if you have a lot of older DVD collection and plan to use this player as an upscaling player, you may want to think about it twice before buying this Pany.
My main purpose to buy this Panny is for the Blu-ray movies and for the music. So far, it is the best player that I"ve ever owned. Get more detail about Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Disc Player, Black.
