The BD80 is easy to set up, easy to use, and solid and dependable. Video and audio quality are terrific, and the player is rock-solid. All this for a price (for me) of less than $140? It's a no-brainer.
The supplemental Viera Cast services are a nice extra - I particularly like the Amazon On Demand service. I bought two of these units for my bedroom and my basement/exercise room. I don't know how it plays on 50"+ screen (I have a nice Sony for my 58" plasma), but I'd be very surprised if it was anything less than excellent.
I'm sure that other players will leapfrog over this unit with new features/services, but at $140, it's a great player at a price that won't require that I hold onto it forever.Get more detail about Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Disc Player, Black.
